Backup login with username and password

An alternative way to sign in to the site when Telegram is blocked — for example on a corporate Wi-Fi, hotel network, mobile carrier with whitelists or a DPI filter. Username and password work alongside the standard Telegram login: you set them once in your account settings and use them as a fallback channel.

How to set up

Sign in to kartracers.ru via Telegram (the usual way).
Go to account settings → Settings section → Backup login block.
Choose a username (3–30 characters, Latin letters, digits, hyphen, underscore) and a password (at least 12 characters, must include both letters and digits).
Click "Save". After a few seconds the block will switch to the "✓ Set" state and show your chosen username.

How to sign in with username/password

Open the sign-in page and switch to the Username/password tab.
Enter your username and password, then click "Sign in".
If you enter the wrong password 5 times in a row — you will need to wait 15 minutes (brute-force protection).

What to do if you forgot your password

Reset via Telegram bot (main method). Open @KartRacersBot and send the command /resetpassword. The bot will reset your password and ask you to sign in via Telegram and set a new one under Settings → Backup login.
If you are currently in a whitelist network where Telegram is blocked. Wait until you leave that network, or use another device with working Telegram (mobile data instead of corporate Wi-Fi, a home router instead of a hotel, etc.) — send /resetpassword from there and follow the first step.
Admin reset via support — emergency channel. If both options above are unavailable for the foreseeable future (e.g. an extended stay in a whitelist network), contact support via @KartRacersBot or through any contact person when you have Telegram access from home or mobile internet. Support will reset the password manually only after identity verification (Telegram account or other proof on request). This is an exception for rare cases, not a standard recovery path.
The password cannot be deleted from the interface. To replace the password — use "Change password" in account settings (the new one overwrites the old one). To fully clear the backup credentials (return to Telegram-only login) — send /resetpassword to the bot or contact support as in item 3.

Security

Never use the same password as for VK / your bank / email — the backup login for kartracers.ru must be unique.
Do not write your password in plain text. Use a password manager (Bitwarden, 1Password, KeePass, etc.).
You can change your password in account settings at any time. Active sessions remain valid after a change — a "sign out of all devices" feature will be added later.
