1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on a user's device. They let the site remember settings, keep a user logged in, and collect anonymized visit statistics.
2. Which cookies kartracers.ru uses
2.1 Necessary cookies (always set). These support the site's basic operation; consent is not requested for them.

2.2 Analytics cookies (only with your consent). Yandex Metrika (Yandex LLC, Russian Federation) collects visit data: pages viewed, referral source, device/browser type, anonymized technical identifiers.
Being transparent: Yandex Metrika's Webvisor feature records visitor actions on the site's pages (cursor movement, scrolling, clicks) for usability analysis — only if you consented to analytics cookies. Form-field contents are masked in the Webvisor recording by default.
Analytics cookies are not set until you click "Accept analytics" in the cookie banner. Yandex Metrika data is processed on servers in the Russian Federation; there is no cross-border transfer.
3. Purposes
- operating the site's basic features (theme, login, remembering your choice);
- analyzing traffic and user behavior to improve the site (only with consent).
4. How to withdraw consent
You can withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time:
- click "Cookie settings" in the footer and choose "Necessary only" — analytics cookies stop being set and Yandex Metrika/Webvisor is disabled for your browser;
- you can also delete already-stored cookies in your browser settings.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the site's basic functionality.
5. How long your choice is stored
Your choice (accept or reject) is stored in a cookie for about 180 days, after which the site will ask again. You can change your choice earlier via "Cookie settings".

Visit statistics
We collect anonymised statistics through Yandex Metrica: which pages get opened, what people search for, where they arrive from. Page addresses and titles are collected; what you type into fields is not. If you would rather stay out of it, switch it off here — the site keeps working exactly as before.
