Terms of Use

1. Subject of the agreement

This User Agreement governs the relationship between the owner of kartracers.ru — an individual, Petr Kutsenko ("Administration") — and any user of the site.

kartracers.ru is a sports-statistics resource about karting: aggregated race results, statistics, ratings, pilot/team profiles and kartodrome information.

By using the site, the user confirms they have read and accept these terms. If not, they must stop using the site.

2. Data sources and accuracy disclaimer

Statistics on the site are aggregated automatically from open sources: official race protocols, public timing-system websites, and open kartodrome/organizer channels.

The Administration strives for accuracy but does not guarantee completeness, timeliness or error-free data. Inaccuracies may occur due to source-protocol quality, timing errors, name collisions (namesakes), regulation changes and other causes beyond the Administration's control.

The site's statistics, ratings and other materials are informational only, are not official competition results, and cannot be used as official proof of sporting results.

If you believe data about you (or a person you legally represent) is inaccurate, you may submit a correction request via the form; requests are reviewed within 10 business days.

3. Data takedown on request

A data subject (or their legal representative, for minors) may request deletion of their personal data, photographs, or that processing stop, via the form, Telegram, or e-mail — see contacts below.

Requests are reviewed within 10 business days; requests concerning minors are reviewed as a priority. The legal grounds are described in the Personal Data Processing Policy.

The Administration may request reasonably necessary information to confirm the request comes from the data subject or their legal representative.

4. Liability and its limitation

The site is provided "as is". The Administration is not liable for: inaccuracies in aggregated data caused by errors or gaps in open sources; temporary unavailability or technical failures; decisions made by the user or third parties based on site materials; or the content of external linked resources.

Limitations of liability apply to the maximum extent permitted by Russian law. The user agrees not to disrupt the site's operation (including bulk automated scraping that creates excessive load, or unauthorized access attempts) and not to use site materials unlawfully.

5. Intellectual property

The site's design, code, database structure, editorial texts, logo and brand elements belong to the Administration and are protected under Russian IP law.

Sporting results themselves (facts) are not subject to exclusive rights; however, the composition and systematization of the site's database is protected as a database maker's related right (Civil Code art. 1333–1336). Extracting or reusing a substantial part of the database without permission is not allowed.

Quoting site materials for informational purposes is allowed with an active link to kartracers.ru as the source.

Rights to race photographs belong to their authors/rightsholders; a rightsholder may contact the Administration regarding their use.

6. Changes to the terms

The Administration may amend this Agreement unilaterally. The new version takes effect upon publication on the site. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new version.

7. Governing law and dispute resolution

Russian law governs this Agreement. Disputes are resolved first through a claims procedure (contact the Administration, 10-business-day response), and failing agreement, in court under Russian law.
